This kind of sundial is very trecise. The arrow must point to the north.
The shadow cast by the arrow on the numbers inside the ring give the current hour.
The latitude is adjustable, because the ring is just press fit in the base, it is not glued.
The serie of holes allow a precise adjustment.
The numbers indide the ring where print with a laser printer on a special adhesive, and carefully glued before assembly.
